The Mimosa is a very large family.  The ones on this page are Mimosa Pudica,
also known as "sensitive plant" because the leaves will fold up when they are touched.
They likes full sun but will put up with some shade, especially later in the day
The leaves tatter easily, so try to give them protection from the wind.
