A Brush Cherry makes an excellent indoor bonsai.  They do well indoors and should be kept outdoors in warm weather where an outdoor area is available.
They like a lot of light, but avoid direct mid-day sun in the middle of summer.
In southern regions nature, they flower and produce fruit, but do not often flower or fruit in areas where it gets cold in winter.
Having two or more Brush Cherries near each other for cross-polination will increase the odds of flowers and fruit.
