The many varieties of the Serissa family are a joy to have.
They are native to southern China, but have been cultivated all over the world for over a century.
Their tiny leaves and beautiful, small flowers make them highly prized by bonsai enthusiasts.
The variegated White Serissa has two color leaves (green with white edging)
and makes a flower like a little white star.
Because of it's profuse flowering, it is highly sought by bonsai hobbyists.
With proper light watering, feeding and temperature, it will flower year-round.
They will do well in the 80s or higher year round, but can actually survive a light frost.
Trim and fertilize regularly for maximum fullness and flowering.  Water well to avoid yellowing leaves.
