A Brazilian Rain Tree makes an excellent indoor bonsai.  They do well indoors and can be kept outdoors in warm weather.
They like a lot of light, but avoid direct mid-day sun in the middle of summer.  The compound leaves open in the morning and close at night.
The wood is hard but new green branches are tender and will scar if tightly wired.  Beware of their thorns when handling or trimming.
They will tolerate temperatures in the high 30's for short periods, but they will not like it.  It's best to bring them indoors when it goes below 45 to 50 degrees.
