Payment Options

We accept credit card orders on-line via a secure system offering the latest in 128 bit, SSL encryption.

To place an order by check or money order, put the item(s) you want to order in the shopping cart.  When you're done, click "Complete Order" and fill in the information on the Shipping Information page.  Make sure to include your daytime phone number & e-mail address.   Click the big yellow "Submit Shipping Information" button at the bottom of the page.  The next page will show your order with all your shipping information and the total due including shipping.  Cut & paste the page into an e-mail with a note saying that you're mailing the check or money order to us, and we'll pick your order, and put everything on the side until the check or money order arrives.  Failure to do this could result in one or more items on your order being unavailable by the time the order arrives.   After you send the e-mail, copy & print the page and send it with your check or money order for the amount shown to:

When we receive the letter with the order and check or money order, your order will be processed.   Orders with Money Orders will be shipped that day.   Orders with checks will be shipped when the check clears our bank.   PLEASE NOTE: This could take an additional 5 to 7 business days.
Orders are also accepted by phone at 917-325-3954 between 10:00A.M. and 5:00P.M. Monday thru Friday and 11:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. Saturday & Sunday, or you may E-mail Paul@bonsaiofbrooklyn.com  Please include the preferred way for us to get in touch with you, and the best times to do so.
Bonsai are shipped within 1 day of receipt unless this will cause the order to be held by the shipper over a weekend.  If that is the case, the order will ship on the following Monday.  Most orders not containing live trees are shipped within 1 day of receipt.   U.P.S. ground service is used unless you request otherwise.  We also ship U.P.S. Next Day, Second Day, Third Day and U.S.P.S. Priority Mail.   While filling out your on-line order form, you will be prompted for your desired shipping method.

A suggestion:If you are considering any method other then U.P.S. Ground, visit the U.P.S. Time In Transit  page first.  Just put in our zip code (11223), and your zip code, and you'll get a table showing delivery time for all available methods.  You may find that ground shipping takes no longer than more expensive methods, but they won't tell you that! When you're finished, just click the "Back"on your browser, and you're back to the order form.

ALL ORDERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.A.-PLEASE NOTE:  Because of the large variation in shipping options and charges for orders outside the U.S.A., please E-mail your address, order (DO NOT E-MAIL A CREDIT CARD NUMBER), and desired method of shipping before processing it on-line.  We will calculate the charges and E-mail them back to you.  If the cost of shipping is acceptable, you may then process the order.   The shipping charges on the order form will usually be different amount.   We will either reduce your charge to the amount we sent you, or bill the difference to the credit card that was used for the order.  

Due to agricultural restrictions, we do not ship bonsai or nursery stock outside the U.S.A.

Security

As with most web-sites, until you begin to input information, you are in a non-secure environment.  As soon as you begin to process your order on our site, you will have entered an area where you are protected by 128 bit encryption, the highest level of security available anywhere.   You can shop with the knowledge that this is the same type of security used by banks, brokerage houses etc.

Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied with any product you purchase (excluding video tapes), you can return the item(s) within 30 days for a 100%, no questions asked refund or exchange of the merchandise returned.  Shipping charges are not refundable.
Where a bonsai tree or nursery stock is involved, we will hold the item for 30 days.  If it remains in good condition, a refund or credit will be issued.

We do not, under any circumstances, share, trade or sell our customer's names or any other information about them to anyone.
