This past Holiday season saw our selection of Junipers reduced to 2.
I have been adding to the page, and will continue to do so.

Dwarf Japanese Junipers will survive indoors with the proper conditions, and flourish outdoors.
If kept indoors, they MUST get at least a few hours a day of DIRECT sunlight,
and MUST be kept in a cooler than room temperature location in winter.
Our "Tip of The Week" (Link is to the left-See #19) lists a few ways to do this.

My first bonsai was a Dwarf Japanese Juniper.  Since 1976, I have sold tens of thousands of bonsai.  I would estimate that half or more of these have been Dwarf Japanese Juniper.  Considering that I have a list of nearly 200 cultivars that I have offered for sale over the years, that is a startling amount.  The reason is that the Dwarf Japanese Juniper looks like most peoples idea of what a bonsai is.  In addition, It is strong, relatively pest free, easy to care for, readily available, and adapts to a wide variety of conditions.   For information on winter requirements, see "Tip of The Week" # 17, 18, & 19.
