Green Island Ficus makes an excellent indoor bonsai.
It has little or no disease or pest problems, it will live in low light that would kill most
other bonsai trees.
It can take direct sun too, but avoid direct mid-day sun in the middle of summer.
It is more tolerant of dry soil than most other
bonsai species.
Overall, it is one of the hardiest
species used for bonsai cultivation. |
